Betty Baking With Jennifer Maesen

Jennifer Maesen

Working hard to learn how to make my very first Battenberg Cake

Last week was a fun week full of cake baking and photo taking! My lovely and creative friend Jenn of Jennifer Maesen Photography was kind enough to come over from Pacifica to shoot some photos. Jenn’s goal is to capture life’s precious moments…one photograph at a time.  She loves creating beautiful art for clients which they will cherish for the rest of  their lives. To help me capture some of my educational baking moments of this summer, she thought it might be fun to do something a little retro inspired. This seemed especially appropriate to me, considering the oven I have to work with 😉

Here are a few of her shots from last week. I hope you enjoy!

This one really captures how excited I feel about the Pioneer Woman’s Chocolate Sheet Cake.

Jenn also loves to photograph babies, kids and families (but says doing an occasional pinup shoot is a ton of fun too! shhhh…). Be sure and check out the Jennifer Maesen Website and Facebook page to see more of her work. (The baby photos are some of my favorites. Sooooo adorable!!!)

If you’re interested in booking a session with Jenn, you can say “Home Schooled Baking sent me” to get a special deal!
